Easter at the Castle with Unique Tours
Dear friends and supporters of Nemilkov Castle,
We would like to invite you to our castle to celebrate the spring holidays. From Thursday through Sunday, April 2–5, the castle will be open to anyone who would like to spend the Easter season in historic interiors, learn about the castle’s past, and see how its gradual restoration is progressing. We will welcome you by the crackling fireplace and offer light Easter refreshments. Weather permitting, you can also sit in the castle courtyard, enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or a light snack, and visit our exhibitions. Our castle tours will be unconventional and relaxed this time, with no set times or groups. So you can come anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. (except Easter Monday), and we’ll personally guide you through the castle as time and interest allow—more like a friendly visit than a traditional tour.
Together, we’ll take a look at the festively decorated interiors and show you what we’ve managed to restore over the winter. We are continuing the restoration of the ballroom, chapel, and sacristy. The musicians’ area and part of the staircase have also been renovated. We’d love to share with you not only stories from the castle’s past, but also what’s happening here today and what our plans are for the future. The year 2026 is special for us. We are commemorating 10 years since we began saving this exceptional place, and that is why we have prepared 10 cultural events for this anniversary.
We would be delighted if you could visit us during the Easter holidays. We look forward to seeing you.
