During the guided tour, you will learn about various periods from Gothic to Classicism and see the castle in various stages of restoration. You will also visit the private rooms of the last owners, which look as if they have just left. Georg Schreiner, a great lover of history and art, left an indelible mark here. He restored historical styles and added distinctive elements to the castle – sometimes so distinctive that even experts are still puzzling over his "historicizing" modifications.
How work was done on the farmyard
In a historic farm building that formerly served as a brewery and later as a granary, you will find a freely accessible exhibition of historical agriculture and crafts. On display are threshing machines, carts, plows, butter churns, and other tools that were found on the premises or brought in by neighbors.
Temporary exhibitions
The same building also houses freely accessible exhibition spaces. Here you can see photographs, paintings, and various works of art by artists from the wider region.
