May Tours at the Castle
Dear supporters and friends of Nemilkov Castle,
We would like to invite you once again to our castle to enjoy the holiday season. From May 1–3 and May 8–10, the castle will be open to anyone who would like to spend some springtime in its historic halls, learn about its past, and see how its gradual restoration is progressing. We look forward to welcoming you to the pleasant atmosphere of the castle and its surroundings. The weather now allows us to open the refreshment stand in the courtyard. Therefore, you’ll be able to sit outside and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or a light snack, or visit our exhibitions.
The tours will once again be informal and relaxed, with no set times or group sizes. You can arrive anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and we’ll personally guide you through the castle—more like a friendly visit than a traditional organized tour. Together, we’ll explore the castle’s interiors and show you the areas we’ve recently restored. We are continuing the restoration of the ballroom, the chapel, and the sacristy; the musicians’ area and part of the staircase have also been renovated. We’d love to share with you not only stories from the castle’s past, but also what’s happening here today and what our plans are for the future.
The year 2026 is a special one for us—we are marking the 10th anniversary of the moment we began saving this unique place, and we have organized 10 cultural events to celebrate this milestone.
We would be delighted if you could visit us during the May holidays. We look forward to seeing you.
