Welcome to our castle in Nemilkov. In 2016, we purchased a historic building that was in danger of falling into ruin, its glory days long gone. This step turned us into diggers, bricklayers, gardeners, but also guides and amateur archaeologists all rolled into one. We work with historians, conservationists, and local neighbors who help us. We are not developers. We are not millionaires either. We are just people who have decided to save a piece of history and give it new meaning. Our goal is to bring the castle back to life. Come and take a walk through places where history meets the present.
Tour with the owners
Take a guided tour of Nemilkov Castle and see how it has changed from Gothic to Classicist style. You will see the public and private rooms of the last owners – the Schreiner family, who had to leave the castle after World War II. Everything looks as if they left only recently. You will also explore the unique modifications made by Georg Schreiner, who left behind a number of fascinating but also confusing historical "fakes" (forgeries). Will you be able to tell what is real and what is his fantasy? Experience the castle as it comes back to life and let yourself be drawn into the stories of its owners and centuries of history.
