The play "The Penguin Waltz"
On Friday, June 12, at 7:00 p.m., the courtyard of Nemilkov Castle will come alive with a wonderful French comedy full of humor and charm by Patrick Haudecoeur, performed by the popular Sušice theater troupe Sušdivoch.
“Morini, the owner of a shoe factory, plans to launch a new product: a revolutionary pair of shoes! He calls them Badabots—self-removing shoes. To win over Count Jean-Patrick de Lagarandier, a man of the world and patron of the arts, he organizes a lavish party. But after all the preparations, the party turns into a night of disasters... and we won’t reveal any more than that.”
The play has been receiving rave reviews wherever it is performed. Audiences leave with smiles on their faces, and it is often said that wherever this comedy is staged, laughter can still be heard long after the final scene.
Before the performance at 5:00 p.m., we’re offering a special, unique tour of the castle with the actors you’ll later see on stage.
Come and enjoy a pleasant summer evening, have some fun under the open sky, and leave your worries behind at the castle gate for a while.

The association currently has 20 members.
We mostly choose comedies because we know that when people go to the theater, they want to take a break from their everyday worries, have a good laugh, and enjoy themselves. Our home base is the Sušice cinema, where we rehearse, fine-tune our performances, and hash things out.
